I’ve been tagged with the current Bible meme by Robert Jimenez at Weird Thinkers.

  1. What translation of the Bible do you like best? Revised English Bible
  2. Old or New Testament? Old Testament
  3. Favorite Book of the Bible? Revelation
  4. Favorite Chapter? Psalm 51
  5. Favorite Verse? Romans 7:24-25
  6. Bible character you think you’re most like? Since I can not say my namesake with any sense of humility, I’ll go with Paul, though I reserve the right to think about that some more.
  7. One thing from the Bible that confuses you? What did Paul mean by the “third heaven” in 2 Corinthians 12:2?
  8. Moses or Paul? Moses
  9. A teaching from the Bible that you struggle with or don’t get? Election/predestination vs. universalism
  10. Coolest name in the Bible? Really now, do I honestly need to answer that? El Shaddai

I will now tag: Steve (Undeception), Mike (The Creation of an Evolutionist), Gary (A Friend of Christ), Will (Anwoth) and Bryan (ἀκολουθέω Χριστόν).

  1. Bryan says:

Excellent questions, and hard at that. Maybe a few false dichotomies ;)

I will put up my answers in the next day or so, when I’m back at the apartment

  2. Will says:

I agree with Bryan. Can I answer “both” for any of them? I’ll post answers soon.

  4. Huh? Wha…? I’m it? And I gotta tag how many…5? OK, I’ll see what I can do.

    (You woke me up.)

  5. Steve says:

Forgive me for not even knowing I was tagged until now! I’ve had to fight to find time to respond to comments on my own blog. I’ll be happy to participate,

  6. Thanks everyone – I’m looking forward to reading your responses if you haven’t already posted!

  7. Mike Beidler says:

    ElShaddai,

I posted my responses and tagged a few individuals myself. Enjoy!
